FinancialClarity.

An outsourced finance practice for companies, nonprofits, and family offices, offering bookkeeping, accounting, controller, and CFO support.

Services

Bookkeeping, accounting, controller, CFO.

Each level builds on the one below. An engagement can cover one, or carry the whole stack under a single lead.

01

Bookkeeping

Our bookkeeping teams do more than record transactions. We keep financial records accurate, current, and organized, reconcile accounts consistently, identify discrepancies before they become larger problems, and provide clear reports that can be relied on. Clients receive responsive communication, secure and well-documented processes, strong attention to detail, and a team that understands their business well enough to recognize when something does not look right. Most importantly, our bookkeepers give confidence that the numbers are complete, dependable, and ready to support better decisions, tax filings, audits, and future growth.

  • Receivables, payables, payroll, and banking
  • Reconciliations and discrepancy review
  • Numbers ready for decisions, audits, and growth
02

Accounting

Our accounting teams go beyond producing reports. We turn accurate financial information into meaningful insight, ensure records comply with applicable standards, strengthen internal controls, and help leadership understand what is driving performance. Clients receive timely financial statements, thoughtful analysis, proactive identification of risks and opportunities, and clear explanations without unnecessary complexity. Most importantly, our accountants give a reliable view of where the organization stands and the financial clarity to plan, make informed decisions, and grow with confidence.

  • Monthly close and statements
  • Accruals and schedules
  • Management reporting
03

Controller

Our controller teams bring structure, discipline, and oversight to the entire finance function. We manage the monthly close, strengthen internal controls, oversee reporting and compliance, coordinate the accounting team, and ensure financial information is complete, accurate, and delivered on time. Clients receive proactive problem-solving, clear accountability, dependable processes, and early identification of risks, inconsistencies, or gaps. Most importantly, our controllers turn day-to-day financial activity into a well-managed system that leadership can trust.

  • Controls and approvals
  • Audit coordination
  • Reporting integrity
04

Fractional CFO

Our CFO teams turn financial information into strategic direction. We help leadership plan for the future, manage cash flow, build realistic budgets and forecasts, evaluate major decisions, and understand the financial impact of growth, funding, and risk. Clients receive clear, forward-looking advice, thoughtful challenge when needed, and financial strategy aligned with the organization's wider goals. Most importantly, our CFOs give leadership the insight and confidence to make better decisions and build a stronger, more sustainable organization.

  • Cash flow and forecasting
  • Board and investor reporting
  • Growth and decision support

Who we help

Companies, missions, families.

Growing faster than their teams and budgets allow, in need of the right financial infrastructure to run the day to day and reach the next level.

Industries

Subject matter experts.

Revenue, delivery, and risk work differently in every sector. The reporting and controls are built around how each client’s business earns.

The engagement

An extension of the team.

We take the time to understand the business and the people running it before we recommend anything. Sometimes the answer is smaller and simpler than anticipated.

01

The conversations

One call or several, on site when it helps. We listen to leadership and the key people around them.

02

The honest answer

Some arrive asking for a CFO and need a controller. Others need the full outsourced finance function. We work through the root problems and the goals, and help leadership decide what is actually needed.

03

The setup

The close calendar, reporting package, controls, and forecasts are built and put on a schedule.

04

Month to month

The work runs monthly, inside the team rather than beside it. Leadership is there for the decisions: hires, pricing, the board meeting.

Fit, cost, and time

Common questions.

What size organizations do you take on?

Companies, nonprofits, and family offices, most between $2 million and $20 million-plus in annual revenue or budget.

Is fractional enough for us?

A full-time CFO is a quarter-million-dollar commitment before benefits. Most organizations under $20 million need the judgment, not the headcount: senior attention a few days a month. When a full-time hire becomes the right answer, we say so and help you make it.

We have a bookkeeper. How is this different?

Either works, depending on what the company needs. If your bookkeeper is good, we build on their records and add the levels above. If you would rather hand over the whole stack, bookkeeping is the first rung of what we do.

How much of our time does it take?

Less than the problem takes now. After the initial review, most of the work runs monthly with a standing check-in. You are involved when there is a decision to make; the data entry never reaches you.

What does it cost?

A fixed monthly retainer, scoped in the first conversation and revisited as the work changes. Most engagements fall between the cost of a senior bookkeeper and a fraction of a full-time CFO. There is no hourly meter.
